With both a Wall Street and a hands-on property background, Richard brings over 35 years of investment expertise to our firm.   After serving as an arbitrage securities trader with L.F. Rothschild and Co. (Member-NYSE) in New York City, Richard was named Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of First Capital Financial, a NASDAQ traded sponsor of public real estate limited partnerships which sponsored over $500 million in investment programs.   That firm was sold to the Sam Zell’s Equity Group in Chicago.

Most recently, Richard has been a principal with The Maynard/Rich Companies, a Miami and San Francisco based provider of real estate investment services to institutions and individuals.   That firm has been a sponsor of numerous private real estate investment programs focused on land, office, residential and retail properties.  In addition, Richard has been directly involved in over $175,000,000 in brokerage transactions.

 Richard is a Florida licensed real estate broker and mortgage broker, and was one of the first Certified Financial Planners in the United States.   He has served as president of Temple Solel in Hollywood, Florida and is currently a member of the board of American Friends of Magen David Adom-Southeast Region.
