Marisela Cotilla, CPM, LEED AP Principal/Broker

Marisela is a veteran commercial real estate Broker with over 28 years in the commercial real estate and commercial lending Industry.  

During her real estate brokerage career Marisela has had the distinction and, as she has stated, the great “honor” of working with some of the top brokerage firms in the country such as CB Richard Ellis, Marcus & Millichap and the Codina Group.   This experience has provided her with in depth knowledge and first hand experience in all areas and different disciplines of commercial Brokerage.    As an investment Broker, Marisela successfully closed over $195,000,000 in commercial properties and represented several institutional and national owners with the marketing and strategic planning of their real estate assets.   Marisela’s corporate and national representations includes companies such as The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, The Tribune Companies, Kenworth Trucking, Barnett Bank, Sun Sentinel, and G.E. Capital, just to name a few.

At Commercial Property Realty Group, Marisela’s primary focus is in developing and expanding the Sales and Leasing Division to include a full service approach to servicing the needs on both a local and/or global platform.   Additionally, and based on her Property Management experience, Marisela is also tasked with expanding the Property Management Company, “Commercial Property Management Group”.    Marisela believes in a full and synergistic approach when working with and analyzing assets and believes this is achieved by having a first hand knowledge of both the income and expense side.   Her unique experience in both sales and management is critical to her forward thinking as she credits this combined approach to her success in this industry.

Utilizing her experience in financing, Marisela works with the different aspects of real estate lending to provide an added value to her client base.   Marisela acknowledges that whether considering an acquisition or a branch expansion, financing always plays an important part and assisting in that process usually adds to that transactions success.         

Marisela holds a Florida Brokers license as well as a Florida Mortgage Brokers license.

Marisela has the CPM designation and is a CCIM candidate.   Additionally in support of the “Green Initiative” in 2009, Marisela became a Leed Accredited Professional (LEED AP), believing that understanding the effects that our buildings have on the environment is critical to our future and understanding of the components provides her client base with the benefits derived from this initiative.   Marisela is a member of Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) and The International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI). She has resided in Florida since 1967.
